Carnegie Mellon University Hosts EDUCOM Post-Conference Forum
Carnegie Mellon University was the host of the first annual EDUCOM Post-Conference Forum. The forum, entitled “Creating Media-Enhanced Teaching Environments,” focused on the infrastructure of multimedia classrooms and instruction.
Approximately 150 educators attended the two-day conference, participating in panel discussions, campus tours, and overviews of several courseware and classroom projects. A variety of speakers from higher education vendors and institutions made presentations. Topics included presentation software, control of the classroom environment, and furniture designed specifically for multimedia instruction. For information about EDUCOM, call (202) 872-4200.
